On October 22nd, the first generator set of Bangka Pinang Island 2×30KW Coal Power Plant Project was connected to the grid successfully ,after six-time tests, the equipment rotated stably to the rated speed and pass the 1500kv booster station in the plant.
In the stage of on-grid commissioning and test, the project team organized the three major engine makers and the suppliers of DCS, ECS and other system to visit the site as the technical team, cooperate with the local company and staff to solve the problems timely on spot during the test which was highly  appreciated by the Employer.
The success for the first generator set represented the project has achieved the goal at present stage. However, Before both No.1 and 2 generator sets putting into commercial operation, there are still many works to do.
